SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community
Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers into the community.
SASSA will likely be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed concerning the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach status sassa Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The provider issue designed for intervention ordeals a significant inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it difficult with the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to allow the servicing of all prospects and improve access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
